Description

There are plenty of films about craft beer - the process and the product. But what about the people? What drives a person to chase a “crazy dream” or experiment with convention? To challenge everything they’ve been told? ‘For the Love of Craft’ peels back the label of what it means to be a craft brewer and reveals the true heart of craft by introducing the people behind it. For the Love of Craft was inspired by archival interviews conducted by Charlie Papazian and Dick Cantwell. From 2015-2017 they filmed over 100 interviews with those who jumpstarted the craft beer movement as we know it today. For the Love of Craft features Larry Bell (Bell's Brewery), Kevin Blodger (Union Craft Brewing), Ken Grossman (Sierra Nevada), Kim Jordan (New Belgium), and Jim Koch (Boston Beer Company/Sam Adams) who candidly tell their story behind their businesses and brews.

The film dives deep to expose the desires, dreams, wisdom, and naivety of five craft brewers pursuing their passions – with independence. Join us for an exclusive showing of this short film produced by the Brewers Association and Studio C3 at Archetype Broadway on Tuesday, Oct 15 at 7pm!
